Welcome, I am delighted that of all the different pages on the net you have chosen to take a look at my page. I hope you like the new design and the fact that I do offer my content now also in english - as a service to my american friends!

I would like to take this opportunity and give you a little insight into the things that raise my interest. Surely I will not share every little detail of my life as not all aspects of my life are meant to be shared with the whole world... privacy is still very important to me and I think that is ok!

Maybe you are wondering how I came up with the name "Saarjoe" ... well, that is actually easy to explain. Since 1995 I have been living in the german state Saarland (with a short interruption of 10 months) and I do feel at home in this lovely area located in the south-east of Germany, bordering France. For a long time I have been working with the internet (at work as well as privately) and naturally I wanted to create my own website. When I was asked for the domain - since I am no big friend of announcing my whole name already in the address (hey, I am no star, right?) I decided to combine my first name with the abbreviation for this lovely state. Voila, that ist the whole story.
